Long Overdue Update

Hey everyone! It's been awhile since we last updated but SO much has happened! I'll give you all a rundown of what happened over the past month.

-We had a ton of great acts at our Annual Benefit Concert! In total, we raised $1236.95 for Manna House! How amazing is that!? Thank you to everyone who came out and supported such a great cause.

- Sadly, our beloved advisor Adam Kaufman moved to California in the past month:( However, we have a fantastic new advisor named Michael Zimmerman! We welcomed him with open arms and we want you guys to do the same! 

And that about does it for what happened this past month. Now onto other things...

ToSTY PROM!
ToSTYs prom is just around the corner! It is a masquerade theme and there will be tons of dancing. Don't have a mask? That's okay, we have masks at the door for five dollars. The apparel is semi-formal. We encourage red and black for the evening! Hope to see everyone there!

Dr. Seuss/Dan Nichols Creative Service/Shul-in!!
So the theme of our creative service is Dr.Seuss! Pretty cool, right? It gets better! Dan Nichols is song-leading our service! That's right, THE Dan Nichols. Don't worry, it's about to get even better! After a night of fun, games, lounging, and an impact session, participants have the option to go back to board members houses to rest up and get ready for the nights festivities. The festivities that night include a Dan Nichols concert! How cool: a shul in, a creative service, and a Dan Nichols concert? Doesn't get any better than that!  Save the date: March 21st- 22nd

Well we have news for you!

Temple Shalom Temple Youth (ToSTY) is having its annual benefit concert on January 11^th 2014 from 6:30 pm-10:00 pm

Proceeds will go to Manna House, a local charity that supports domestic violence victims

The location of the event is at 5 Ayrmont Lane, Aberdeen, New Jersey

In order to perform, the band has to sell 10 tickets and sign up by January 4^th 2014

ToSTY’s Benefit Concert

Hey everyone! It’s that time of year again!

ToSTY is holding it’s annual benefit concert on January 11^th 2014

It is being held at 5 Ayrmont Lane, Aberdeen, New Jersey

$10 dollars in advance

$15 dollars at the door

Majority of the proceeds will go towards Manna House

Manna House is a transitional housing program for women and children who would otherwise be homeless.  We provide the opportunity for women to move from dependency and homelessness to self-sufficiency and hope

We will also be raffling off gift baskets during the event!

Brief Update!

Hello ToSTY followers! Here's just a brief update to let you all know what's been going on:

1. Tonight is the first ever ToSTY & RTSY Co-Shul In! We're excited to have as many people coming as we do, since at the moment we have 35 or so people signed up. If you're going tonight, hope to see you there!

2. In case you can't come to this amazing event, our next event is in mid-December, and it is an INDOOR POOL PARTY! It will be loads of fun, and you'll get a chance to swim with all your favorite people. Stay tuned for more details.

3. The annual Benefit Concert is coming fast! If you know of any bands that may be interested in performing, please email us! Or, if you have a friend who has plays guitar and knows a few songs, then be free to have them contact us, as well... They'd be great for transitions between artists. Remember, email us at shalomtosty@gmail.com  for more information!

4. It may feel far away, but mark your calendars! ToSTY's Seussical Shul-In is schedules for March 21-22! We have a VERY special guest joining us that night for the creative service, and that is none other than DANNY NICHOLS!!!!! Save the date, because you're bound to have an awesome time!

Barnes and Noble Booksale!

This past evening, the members of the ToSTY board participated in a fundraiser for Barnes and Noble, in which we wrapped books for people who bought anything. So, if you bought a book from Barnes and Noble for the holidays as a gift, you could've had one of the illustrious ToSTY board members wrap it for you.
For those of you that did come to support ToSTY - thank you so much for the support! It means a lot!
